A Team Teach School
Hempstead Junior School is a Team Teach school; Team Teach is holistic positive behaviour management training which we provide for all staff in the school to enable them to promote safe and positive behaviour from all pupil, regardless of need. The Head Teacher, Mr Cross, and Deputy Head Teacher, Mr Browne, are accredited Team Teach Intermediate Tutors, who ensure that all staff are given the opportunity to be trained in desescalation techniques, and if absolutely necessary, positive handling of pupils if they become unsafe to themselves or others.
